TO WONDER AND STARSHINE is my second short story collection. The first, THE SHADOW GALAXY: A Collection of Short Stories and Poetry (writing as J. Dianne Dotson), was also published by Trepidatio as my trad debut in 2023.

The beautiful cover for TO WONDER AND STARSHINE was illustrated by Mikio Murakami, who also made the art for THE SHADOW GALAXY. For both books, the text design and layout were arranged by editor Scarlett R. Algee.
Given the mix of genres for this new collection, and my love for Art Nouveau, I wanted something that tied everything together into something beautiful. I sent in some concept art of my own as well as mood board images. Mikio delivered the perfect composition and colors. I’m so thrilled!
