The only constant is change, as they say. And as a seasoned, extremely online person for about 30 years, I have seen many platforms come and go. It can be hard to let our online communities go. But some of them are bought out, or overhauled, or disappear overnight like mayflies. As a published author, artist, social media manager, and new publisher, I know as well as anyone that we have to pivot sometimes on a moment’s notice.
To that end, I’ve updated my social media links here on my website and also my LinkTree. This contains all sorts of useful links: https://linktr.ee/jendiagammon.
Note that all these links now correspond to both my author names: Jendia Gammon (primarily used 2023 going forward with rare exceptions) and J. Dianne Dotson. In other words, follow the Jendia Gammon ones linked above or on my site to stay current.
Also, I have a Patreon with exclusive content which can be found here. And a mailing list can be found here.
As of November 2024, I am most active on Threads, Instagram, Bluesky, Mastodon, LinkedIn, and TikTok, occasionally posting interviews on YouTube.
All of these could be around for a while, or they could vanish. New apps will likely pop up. And when they do, I’ll update my site and my LinkedIn. I can’t say I love any of them, as they are all quite flawed for different reasons. But they are good ways to connect with other people out in the world, share what we’re doing, what we’re making, and try to bring more folks together.
