Today, I am completely delighted to announce a book deal for an epic fantasy trilogy, the Vale of Seven Dragons Saga. This trilogy will publish via Sley House Publishing, who are also publishing my 2025 horror/sci-fi/thriller, Atacama. I’m so happy to have more books with Sley House!
Let’s get into the details:
Vale of Seven Dragons Saga – Epic Fantasy Trilogy
Book One: The Vale of Seven Dragons (out April 7, 2026):
This is the tale of a rebellious princess and a loyalist prince, seven lost dragons, and the beginning of the end of their world as they know it.
The 16-year-old Princess Githilien (Thilly) of Vickery wants nothing to do with the Crown. She wants either to become a knight, which is forbidden, or join her mother’s secretive mystical practices in the north. Whereas 18-year-old Prince Beaumain of Catellaith is of age to be knighted, and he frowns upon any deviation from his royal birthright. By tradition, the two teens should be betrothed from Thilly’s birth, but her mother insisted on raising an independent daughter who might choose her own destiny.
But when monsters invade the lands of the south, Thilly and Beaumain must unite and fight for the future of their lands, and try to find the missing Seven Dragons of myth…if they even existed at all.
The sequels are titled Coursers of Wings and Flame (Book Two), out 2027, and The Vale of Fire Wrought (Book Three), out 2028.
A Cross-Genre Epic Fantasy Series
The Vale of Seven Dragons Saga contains elements of epic fantasy, cosmic horror, found family, supernatural beings, ecology, political intrigue, war, and even some romance!
This is also a coming-of-age tale for the heroes, as well as a series showcasing older heroes and late bloomers. I like to describe it as the Venn Diagram between Heavy Metal, The Lord of the Rings, and Downton Abbey.
Special Features for the Series
We’re getting the band back together! The cover artist for Atacama, Chris Panatier, will return to work his magic for cover art.
We will also have maps in the books, naturally. And I will have some more news later on, related to this universe I’ve built.
I think you’re all going to find something to love in the Vale of Seven Dragons tales!
I’m very excited to share each book in the Vale trilogy with you!
I also have another, unrelated book announcement happening later this week…
